Is Bayesian MMM worth the faff? In this post I discuss the benefits and challenges thrown up by Bayesian approaches to Marketing Mix Modelling. Key takeaway: if all you do is swap in a Bayesian model in place of your traditional MMM, you get all of the faff and none of the benefits - you need to use these models differently to get the benefits.
