What a fun event and experience these last 4days have been at Taghazout Surf Expo - Was great to introduce The Offsite and talk about how to best attract digital nomads to the region - Meeting my teammate Alexa McDonald for the first time, after working/chatting every day for the past 5 months - Having all Offsiters coming and support me and listen to the presentations both days 🥺 - Last but not least, seeing old friends and meeting new people in the same industry; inspiring to see what they are doing too! Exactly two years ago, I flew to #Morocco for the first time. I had no clue what to expect, but I definitely did not expect this... I was going to Morocco to host a two-week Offsite, and I ended up staying a combined 12 months there. And flying back for the season soon 🇲🇦 During the first Offsite, we ended our trip with a super fun and lively event Taghazout Surf Expo - such a vibe! It was so great that we attended again the following year! In my emails this summer 📧: "We are thrilled to invite you to the third edition of the Taghazout Surf Expo, taking place from October 24 to October 27, 2024. The presence of your organisation would be a great honour, and we believe your insights and #expertise would significantly contribute to the success of the event" Two years after setting foot in the country for the first time, I'm flying back to share my opinion and knowledge at a round table - anything surf & #digitalnomad related of course! What an honour! Attending Taghazout Surf Expo for the 3rd time, but as an invited guest this year! Full circle moment! ⭕️ Excited to see other #participants there! Kon'nichiwa, 🇯🇵 I’ve just had the honour to join an epic experience in Osaka, #Japan hosted by Yayem! They set up this incredible experience for us; local immersion, talks with different founders, parties, sports and much more! It’s so intense and SO MUCH FUN! 🍜 The aim was to connect cool like-minded people/founders from the #digitalnomad scene; connect, share and learn from each other while falling in love with Osaka at the same time! 🏯 Thank you to FUTRWORKS who hosted us in their beautiful #coworkingspace, on the 26th floor, with a 360 view on all of Osaka! We worked and played hard in that space! Everything was immaculate: the vibes, the crew, the activities, the country, the food…THE MATCHA! 🍵 It was nice to be in a room filled with people and be understood. For once in my life, I did not have to justify my lifestyle, my love for freedom or my curiosity to see the world - the whole entire world please!! Being surrounded by #remoteworkers/ #digitalnomads, #worldtravellers, and #entrepreneurs was refreshing & inspiring too!
