🌟 Summer 2024 Accomplishments 🌟 This summer has been an incredible journey filled with growth, learning, and exciting opportunities. I’m proud to share some of the milestones I’ve achieved: 🎓 Graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering — a momentous chapter that has laid the foundation for my future endeavors. 📜 Earned my Agile with Atlassian Jira certification — enhancing my project management skills and boosting my ability to lead Agile teams efficiently and clearly. 🚀 Joined The Tech Cadets as a project manager and lead developer, where I had the opportunity to build "Clean Cycle," an environmental safety mobile app. This project was also part of the 2024 Google Gemini API Developer Competition — a truly enriching experience that combined my passion for software development with environmental sustainability. 🤖 Started an internship at Radical AI as an AI Software Engineer intern, where I’m diving deep into the world of AI and machine learning, working alongside brilliant minds. None of these achievements would have been possible without the support of the incredible people around me. A huge thank you to all my mentors, friends, family, and colleagues who pushed me to aim higher and provided guidance when I needed it most. Your encouragement means the world to me! Hi Friends!!! It's that time of the year! One of the not so pretty sides when it comes to mentoring and volunteering is that it can be pretty easy to feel burnt and jaded from meeting so many people for so long. Every now and then, you need to take a break! And this is something I do encourage all mentors to do, for their headspace. I'll be taking a small break meeting with students from BobaTalks and relationship stuff for the summer. It's hard to believe I'm already halfway through the summer—7 weeks in with 9 more to go until the fall semester starts. Time really does fly! I'm sharing this update on LinkedIn to hold myself accountable and stay on track with my summer goals. Here's what I aim to achieve in the coming weeks: 🌟 Complete my CodePath TIP 101 course and earn a certification 🌟 Maximize the benefits of my CodePath x AmazonNext mentorship 🌟 Tackle LeetCode problems, learn common patterns/algorithms, and participate in mock technical/behavioral interviews 🌟 Develop a project with the The Tech Cadets Project Details: Focused on enhancing my front-end skills with HTML/CSS, TypeScript, and React 🌟 Build my personal portfolio And of course one of the most important things for this summer: 🌟 Take time to relax and enjoy moments with friends and family I’m excited to keep the momentum going and will be sharing updates on my progress throughout the summer.
