The cat is out the bag and now we can speak about it. We had the opportunity to host The Jennifer Hudson Show as she surprised 50 HBCU students as part of Ally’s Moguls in the Making event. We took her to Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Motown Museum and Detroit PizzaBar. Check out the video here. Thank you to Ally and Detroit Symphony Orchestra . https://lnkd.in/eEYJHmwd

Check out these amazing learning journeys we just hosted! The High Line Network visited Detroit, requesting a deep dive tour of the city's east and west sides to explore Detroit's unique public spaces. They left feeling inspired and impressed by the redesigned areas. But what exactly is the High Line Network? The High Line Network is a group of infrastructure reuse projects—and the people who are helping them come to life. Comprising 47 projects across North America, its overarching vision is to create a world where people have access to vibrant public spaces that center local communities, build civic connections, support environmental resilience, and foster equitable community development. We took the Network to these public spaces. Which one is your favorite? • Georgia Street Community Collective • The Shepherd and Little Village • E. Warren Corridor • Chandler Park • Ella Fitzgerald Park • Northwest Goldberg • Clark Park Which one is your favorite? ssh..(All are our favorite) #publicspaces #thirdplaces #communitydevelopment

In October, we were asked to host a "You Can in Detroit" rally. After the tour, we invited a few business owners to share why they chose to stay in Detroit and make it their home. Here's what Lady Bando (Jessica) Jessica Bondalapati had to say: Detroit's heart beats with its people. From day one, I felt embraced by a community eager to support, collaborate, and invest in each other. These connections, forged over a decade ago, still fuel my passion for this city. The openness and genuine interest in who you are make Detroit more than just a place—it's home. People are always the reason. What keeps you anchored to your community?
