The High Line Network visited Detroit, requesting a deep dive tour of the city's east and west sides to explore Detroit's unique public spaces. They left feeling inspired and impressed by the redesigned areas. But what exactly is the High Line Network? The High Line Network is a group of infrastructure reuse projects—and the people who are helping them come to life. Comprising 47 projects across North America, its overarching vision is to create a world where people have access to vibrant public spaces that center local communities, build civic connections, support environmental resilience, and foster equitable community development.
