Today is #BringYOurDogToWorkDay. Doggo Norbu is having the best day with human Wesley Goins, Engine Operator at the Lux Stage at Trilith Studios in #Atlanta #Georgia. Welcomed with some extra fuss from Gera aka German Perl, Norbu had virtual pillion motorbike ride, learnt a little #UnrealEngine and contemplated amongst fluffy clouds in the bluest of skies. On his best friend, Wes says "I love this little guy! He is a rescue dog, and his rescue name suited him, so I kept it. I think Norbu is the Tibetan word for crystal or gem. It's been such fun to bring him to work today" Pawtastic! 🐾 #LuxMachina #LuxStage #TrilithStudios #virtualproduction Bring Your Dog To Day is supported by HOWND & Dogfriendly Limited

It was an amazing day in environments from caves to jungles to a wild west town as we co-hosted the Visual Effects Society #Georgia members (and those from farther afield) led by Eric Leidenroth, Zach Bell and Rob Wright welcoming new VES chapter members Justin Altman, Wan Chiu, Ethan David, Nate Foster, Shawn Herold, Neal Krupa, MARK LASOFF, Jason Newman, Nicholas P., Ashish Raisinghani, Christos Sfetsios and Brandon Swan. The event was superbIy brought together by Lux Stage, Event Manager Dominique Moxie. This is what she has to say " It was truly inspiring to see so many members of the Georgia VFX community come together on the Lux Stage. What began as a small event to congratulate the new VES members, evolved into an evening dedicated to forging new connections and strengthening existing ones, all while immersed in dynamic virtual production environments. The feedback following the event has been spectacular, and I, for one, am looking forward to the potential of creating more events like this in the future. A heartfelt thanks to the Visual Effects Society. Abigail Bradley McCollum and Katy Warren in marketing and all at Trilith Studios for the collaboration with Lux Machina Consulting to bring this event to life!" We'll leave the final words to Rob Wright “The Lux Stage virtual environments was creatively inspiring. And to top it off, the networking opportunity was stellar. Great to see so many VFX professionals and creatives together!” #LuxStage #VisualEffectsSociety #VES #TrilithStudios #Atlanta #Georgia #VirtualProduction

The Lux Stage team are very proud to reveal this groundbreaking amazing project: Georgia Tech College of Design's Center for Music Technology debuted its newest robot musician, medusai, in collaboration with LUX Stage -- and the result was modern magic with eight arms! This new robot uses #AI to know what people around it are doing, and then it responds with snake-like gestures, music, and light. Click here https://lnkd.in/e9qMWF58 to watch Georgia Tech students jam with medusai in one of the world's most advanced sound stages and see for yourself if AI is beautiful or unsettling.
