To celebrate Black Business Month, we hosted two special events last week in New York City and Los Angeles, featuring discussions with our brand partners Bossy Cosmetics Inc., Harlem Candle Co., Humanrace, Novara, and The Potion Studio, followed by networking cocktails with influential voices from the community and aspiring entrepreneurs.   Our moderators—Beauty Editor & Expert Maya Alena Allen in NYC and Nordstrom National Beauty Director Autumne West in LA—supported engaging conversations about the brands’ journeys. Panelists Dr. Elena Jones, Reshona Jessamy, Teri Johnson, Aishetu Fatima Dozie and Aziza El Wanni addressed misconceptions about Black-owned brands, offered personal and business advice, discussed community, and highlighted their favorite products.
