I love a good rewrite on Twas the Night Before Christmas.. The Smarter Service is wishing you all a very happy holiday spent with loved ones. May it be focused on time with family and filled with stories & laughter, not tech support ;)
🎄 ’Twas the Night Before Christmas (Tech Edition) 🎄 ’Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, The devices were humming—yes, even the mouse. Grandma was FaceTiming with family who cared, While Grandpa’s smart speaker played tunes they both shared. The iPads were propped on the counter with pride, Where aunts swapped recipes for pies, side by side. The uncles were laughing, their steps being tracked, Competing on apps to see who walked the most laps. The doorbell chimed softly, a familiar sound, With video streams of family homebound. Mom checked her smartwatch for messages new, And Dad asked Alexa to “play something smooth.” When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter, Our Ring cameras caught what was the matter. Away to the window, the smart shades did fly, While the Roomba spun circles, sweeping nearby. The moon on the cars, parked all snug in their spots, Reflected the glow of tech’s tiny bright dots. When what to our wondering eyes should appear, But a sleigh in 4K with eight reindeer! With a tech-savvy driver, lively and spry, It was old St. Nick, with gadgets to try. His sleigh had been upgraded, streamlined with care, A GPS tracker ensured he got there. “Now phones! Now tablets! Now smart home delight! On wearables, earbuds, and blue-lit sights! To the aunt on her Kindle, to the uncle on Zoom, Let’s spread holiday cheer from room to room!” The cousins shared photos via frames on the wall, Though miles apart, they felt close to us all. Mom danced to the rhythm of her favorite new tune, While Dad’s Fitbit buzzed, ‘10,000 steps soon!’ And along with the tech, he was leaving behind, He left one more gift—so thoughtful, so kind. ‘To help you set up, to learn and to play, The Smarter Service is coming your way!’ “They’ll settle right in and get straight to the task, Helping set up devices—just give them an ask! ‘They’ll pair up your Bluetooth, and show what apps do, And don’t forget passwords—write them down too!’” Then, tapping his smartwatch, he vanished with ease, Into the glow of the winter night breeze. But we heard him exclaim, as he drove out of sight, “Tech brings us together—Happy Holidays and good night!” From all of us at The Smarter Service, we wish you a holiday season filled with connection, laughter, and everything that makes life brighter.
