January marks the 15th anniversary of Thorne Ambulance Service! Starting as a one ambulance operation, #TAS has expanded to provide services across South Carolina. Today, Thorne works with some of the largest healthcare systems across the state, is one of only a few providers serving in a dedicated 911 capacity, and provides event standby services at some of the best venues in South Carolina. Our team has grown to more than 250 dedicated professionals, who consistently strive to make Thorne Ambulance Service better every day. We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to our 15 years of success - current and prior team members, customers, vendors, communities, and other supporters. We could not do this without your steadfast commitment to supporting our mission. Today marks our 4th anniversary in providing service in the Grand Strand (MYRTLE BEACH) of South Carolina. In that time, we have recruited and retained a team of outstanding clinicians, formed an exceptional local leadership team, and have positively impacted the lives of nearly 50,000 patients. As we venture into our 5th year of providing service in MYRTLE BEACH, we look forward to all the opportunity that is yet to come, and the continued advancements we will make in care provision. Our Thorne Ambulance Service team invested a lot of time with the next generation of EMS providers this week. From career fairs in Spartanburg and Gaffney, to the annual Advisory breakfast with the Golden Strip Career Center. We are fortunate to have programs in the area that are committed to the success of their students, and committed to supporting a sustainable workforce for #mobilemedicine.
