Full of Life: Three Thrive Communities Reach 100% Occupancy! The Thrive Senior Living leadership team celebrates the accomplishments of the teams at Thrive at Augusta, Thrive at Brow Wood and Thrive at Green Island for reaching 100% occupancy. 100% occupancy means our residents love living, engaging and building bonds within their community. It means that every room is filled with older adults living their best, most fulfilled lives. It means they feel valued, understood, appreciated and cared for. These achievements did not happen overnight. It took the perseverance, humility, positivity, teamwork, communication, consistency and dedication of every team member in these communities. “The energy, enthusiasm and servant leadership our team offers every single day is contagious, unique and special in so many ways,” said Thrive at Green Island Community President Sarah Biehl. These teams showed prospective residents that life at a Thrive community is gratifying and fun and that – as a resident – their needs and desires would be heard and tended to. People will stay where they feel they belong. Thrive teams encourage belonging in their communities by creating environments that foster connection, creativity, teamwork and even a little competition. This results in a community of deep friendships and relationships that residents simply can’t leave behind. “It’s about making people feel connected and that they are part of something special,” said Thrive at Brow Wood Community President Laura Bailey. “I should have done this sooner; I had no idea what I was missing and what I truly needed until I moved here.” These are common words heard in Thrive communities. Residents fall in love with their forever homes at Thrive because of the opportunities and adventures the team provides daily, allowing seniors to build rich lives and relationships through shared passions and memories. As Thrive at Augusta President Melita Winnick explains, “When you embrace something important to people, they, in turn, embrace you.” The 100% occupancy milestone is a testament to the incredible work and dedication of our teams. Not only is it a reflection of the trust our residents and their families place in us, but also the positive impact we are honored to have on their lives. Thrive is proud to be a place where our seniors are celebrated, where passions are pursued, and where you'll find a genuine sense of belonging. Want to know more? A New Way Of Thinking About Older Adults.
About us
A New Way Of Thinking About Older Adults. Welcome to Thrive and a fresh perspective on senior living. Over a decade ago we took a hard look at traditional senior living. We quickly knew we would not want to visit most of these places, let alone live there; so, we created communities where older adults would not only love to live, but Thrive. What do most people think of when they see gray hair? They see frailty and disability with low speeds, and high needs. What do we see at Thrive? We see wisdom. We see laughter. We see ability. We see growth. We see potential. We see opportunity. These divergent views from tradition have caused a decade of incredible growth. We have built a company and a team of people who align on these beliefs. Today we have almost 1,000 team members (employees) in our communities who come to work each day in the pursuit of meaningful relationships with our older adults*. Many of our key leaders bring valuable experience to our industry from other fields. Simply put, our leaders believe that if we love our team well, they will, in turn, love our residents well. At Thrive, we’ve dedicated our lives to ensure there is purpose in every breath of each resident we’re honored to serve. We understand that older adults and their loved ones depend on us not only to live, but to live well. It’s a challenge we welcome – every day.
