Partnerships are the key to advancing vision in our small and rural communities. Thanks to a unique technical assistance investment by University of Central Arkansas Center for Community & Economic Development / Community Development Institute (CDI) Central, our friends in the growing City of Pea Ridge, Arkansas undertook a process of discovery and design facility by Thrive that resulted in a fresh new brand identity, setting the stage for the town to make big moves in Northwest Arkansas! We're excited about our workshop next week! Part of the placemaking process for your community can include spotlighting natural assets. Do this not only to increase regional tourism but also to increase a sense of pride within your residents. In the case of Helena, Arkansas, we're lucky to have the Mississippi River! When the river is low, it reveals sandy beaches where you can play, camp, or even host after-school land art workshops! ;) #placemaking #branding #makeitfun #getproud

We're excited to follow your journey, Nya Kidd!
On February 7th, I had the wonderful pleasure of giving a presentation for Thrive Inc.'s Creative Pro Wednesday! It was truly a special moment that I am most grateful for, especially considering I was once an attendee at these events. I have achieved far more than I ever imagined and its all thanks to the incredible support from Thrive. During my presentation, I reflected on my journey of applying to and ultimately being accepted into the Graphic Design program at the University of Arkansas. My hope is to serve as a relatable voice for the students who joined me in this presentation, motivating them to pursue higher education and feeling inspired along their own paths. Thank you William Staley for this wonderful opportunity!
