Our last Tech Community Night of the year is back tomorrow night at Entrepreneurs Sandbox. Expect a dynamic networking event for local techies, founders, and investors with some delicious pupus and drinks — we also invite different groups to host engaging breakout sessions. Closing out our set of events this year, this month’s theme is Government Support for Tech. We’ll be having Hawaii Technology Development Corporation, MITRE, and Pacific Impact Zone share about federal funding and the role they play in cultivating Hawaii’s local tech scene. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to connect with our ecosystem partners and be a part of our thriving startup community. Special shoutout to Hawaii Technology Development Corporation, Hub Coworking Hawaii, Builders VC, and the Entrepreneurs Sandbox for sponsoring our Tech Community Night — sign up below, and we’ll see you all tomorrow!

Our mission is focused on modernizing Hawaii's economy through strategic partnerships across various sectors, using a data-driven approach to identify tech opportunities. After sixteen weeks of analysis across 17 industries and discussions with over 30 stakeholders, the report identifies four promising opportunities to position Hawaiʻi as a tech hub. This initiative aims to prepare Hawaiʻi for future job markets by leveraging local assets and industry trends to foster economic development through targeted programs. We hope you'll join us in our effort to develop programs that meet local business needs, expand access to higher-paying jobs, and position Hawaiʻi for a successful future.
