Our Co-Founder, Julia Zhou attended Climate Week in New York, where she gained valuable insights into the latest global efforts for climate action. Here are some of her key takeaways from the event. #NYClimateWeek #ClilmateAction #Sustainability #TidalImpact
What a blessing it was to be at New York Climate Week for the first time this year! It was a great reminder to me that in-person gatherings are always more powerful because collaboration happens so much faster when genuine relationships and trust are built. 💃🏻 Started my week at the Fin-Erth Women in Climate breakfast hosted by the wonderful Serena O. and Patrick Keogh. It was about celebrating women driving climate action behind the scenes and finding ways to ensure they’re being recognized. There’s something magical that happens when women gather to support each other. Can highly recommend to get involved with this community. 🌱 Later in the week, Tidal Impact partnered with #RegensUnite, led by Chad Frischmann, RegenIntel, Global Solutions Alliance, for an incredible gathering of 228 regenerative leaders to work on a shared vision for a regenerative future. The energy in the room was inspiring— with touching performances by Dr. Lyla June Johnston, Michael Ketigian, and Andrei Matorin. 🌎 Wrapped up the week at The #ReAssembly by Regeneration.VC, which brought together industry experts, corporate leaders, and government officials to dive into topics like biodiversity, circular supply chains, and sustainable finance. Thank you, Michael Smith, for the invitation. Especially loved hearing from people like William McDonough, who talked about the importance of shifting from a focus solely on decarbonization to recarbonizing nature based on Cradle to Cradle principles. It was wonderful to spend quality time with both old and new friends. Sian, Laura, Vaitea, Dave, Veronica, Gerald, Amánda, Linda, Kok, Jean, Will, Ludolf, Christian, Matteo… let’s keep in touch! #NYClimateWeek #ClimateAction #Sustainability #Regeneration #CircularEconomy
