Insulate Better. Live Better.

About us

TimberHP is a privately held, Maine-based building products corporation founded in 2017 to develop and manufacture renewable, biodegradable, non toxic wood fiber insulation for the residential and light commercial construction market. Global climate change is an urgent threat. It must be addressed. And simply put, we are running out of time to do so. Right now, an astounding 44% percent of global carbon emissions come from energy consumed by residential and commercial buildings. It’s an unsustainable dynamic that won’t change unless we come up with new ways to make the built environment more carbon neutral. Insulating homes and buildings with GO Lab’s wood fiber batts, blown in insulation and exterior boards will create tighter building envelopes, thus reducing the need for heating and cooling. GO Lab’s wood fiber batts and exterior boards will cost the same as, or less than, other products on the market, but do so much more. It’s a marriage of environmental sustainability and cost competitiveness that comes at a critical time, as more stringent building codes increasingly demand that structures use less energy and leave less of a carbon footprint. Our team is hard at work, preparing for the launch of a new, cutting-edge manufacturing facility, inside a former paper mill in Madison, Maine. Once operational, this plant will turn daily shipments of wood chips from lumber yards around the state, into cost competitive, environmentally sustainable, transformative insulation products. Demand for our products will breathe new life into Maine’s forest products industry and create good paying jobs that will reinvigorate local economies.
