Today's Class reposted this
Today's Class, a provider of daily, online training for the auto repair industry, has announced a new platform feature called Timeline that allows organizations to share announcements, deliver targeted communications and foster employee collaboration. Timeline builds on the Today’s Class core focus on daily adaptive training by allowing users to share knowledge directly and consistently across teams. The goal is to address the communication challenges faced by multi-location businesses, where messages lose clarity when relayed through multiple channels. According to Today’s Class, Timeline allows companies to post information — such as best practices, safety protocols or updates — and reach employees directly without the need for email by integrating into the daily workflow. “Today’s Class is committed to transforming training in the automotive aftermarket,” said David Boyes, president. “We began this transformation by shifting technician and service adviser training from the common-place semi-annual sessions to adaptive, daily learning designed for long-term retention. "Now, with features like Timeline, we’re empowering our customers to collaborate seamlessly, placing valuable knowledge and resources directly in the hands of shop employees through an intuitive app experience.” In addition to Timeline, Today’s Class plans to release new content topics by the end of the year: engine operation, electrical foundations and fasteners, along with a service adviser topic on how starter systems operate and how to guide customers with starter concerns. This would give Today’s Class a total of 14 new topics in 2024, along with major revisions on three others. New topics planned for 2025 include electrical/electronic diagnostic, ADAS calibration and engine diagnosis, along with more service adviser content. #aftermarket #autocare #carcare
