Treasures 4 Teachers provides a truly unique resource for educators and students in Arizona. We actively seek out and collect unwanted, but reusable, materials throughout our community and make them available to teachers at very low or no-cost. These materials come from various sources: manufacturers, businesses, teachers, schools, other non-profit agencies, and private donations. For a nominal $35.00 per year, less than $3.00 a month, educators can have access to a huge selection of classroom materials from low cost to absolutely free. Teachers will find everything from books, school supplies, and classroom décor, to binders, paper tubes, magazines and a variety of creative reuse materials. In addition, a T4T membership includes monthly Teacher Appreciation giveaways. Please be sure to check out our website: https://lnkd.in/ezr8Nui for more information or stop by for a quick tour. You'll definitely want to spend time shopping next door at our thrift store; where all proceeds benefit teachers and their students. Today, teachers across Arizona are relying on our support to make it through the rest of the school year. 📚 Our hardworking educators face huge barriers to keeping the classroom full and engaging for their students. 71% of teachers report that their supplied materials last half the school year or less, leaving them to pay upwards of $550-$850 out of pocket every school year to keep their students succeeding. 📍 This #GivingTuesday, you can help us #SupplyTheSecondSemester for 8000 educators and 240,000 students across Arizona. Treasures 4 Teachers aims to empower educators, enrich students, and eliminate waste by connecting the community's donations to classrooms in need. Through two resource centers and an On-Wheels program, every dollar donated allows us to provide $9 worth of supplies to local educators. 📚✂️ Here's how you can fuel our mission today: 💸 Make a quick & easy tax-deductible donation at https://lnkd.in/ezx4TMPM 💡 Learn more about our mission and Giving Tuesday at https://lnkd.in/gvF6G8eN 📩 Share with your network to spread the word about this important cause! Thank you for your support as we aim to send every student into 2025 with a full, engaging classroom. ✏️

At Treasures 4 Teachers, we're transforming education one classroom at a time. As we serve 8,000 local teachers through our resource programs, we witness daily how access to basic supplies can revolutionize the learning experience. 📚 This #GivingTuesday2024, we invite you to join our mission of empowering educators and enriching student learning. Our impact is measurable and significant: through our two resource centers and innovative On Wheels program, every dollar contributed translates to $9 worth of essential classroom supplies. 🙌 Your support creates a powerful ripple effect across our education system. Teachers can focus on instruction rather than purchasing supplies, students gain equal access to learning materials, and community resources are efficiently redistributed to where they're needed most. Who doesn't love a field trip? 🚌 Our Executive Director Joy Klein and Board Treasurer David Smith recently took a trip to Tulsa, Oklahoma, for the National Education Resource Collective's Annual Gathering! It was an exciting opportunity to connect and collaborate with resource centers from across the country. We were even treated to a tour of The Pencil Box! ✏️ We're honored to be a part of the Collective and are excited to see what lies ahead in the world of resource centers. 🙌 🎨

Last week, we had the absolute pleasure of hosting Social Venture Partners Arizona and Fidelity Charitable® at our Tempe Resource Center for a first-hand look into our organization. 👀✏️ Through a tour of our facility, a volunteer session, and an insightful Q&A, we were able to provide a deeper look into the important work we do for educators and their students. A heartfelt thank you to everyone with SVP and Fidelity Charitable for taking time out of your busy schedules to engage with our mission! We are truly grateful for your ongoing support, which empowers us to continue our vital work of supporting local educators. 🙌🍎

Exciting news! Our open-to-the-public thrift store has a brand new name! Formerly known as T4T Thrift Shop, Treasure Box Thrift was founded in 2017 to support our mission of providing essential school supplies to local classrooms. "Treasure Box Thrift perfectly encapsulates the experience we aim to offer our customers—a place where they can uncover hidden gems and find value in every visit," shared Joy Klein, our Executive Director. "While the name is changing, our dedication to our community and our mission remains the same." Treasure Box Thrift is located right next door to our Tempe Resource Center and accepts all sorts of donations. Learn more at https://lnkd.in/eHKZKk-A
