  • Thank you, Carolyn Nelson for joining us this morning! Your thoughtful questions were clearly born out of many years of expertise. You had as much to offer to us as we had to tell you!

  • Tremont is hiring! We are accepting applicants for a high school math substitute (December-mid January), our substitute pool (per-diem), and a part-time school nurse. All of our postings can be found on Indeed and AISNE. Come and join our brilliant and warm community!

Krista Here: The older I get, the more I realize how important it is for me to stay connected to my purpose. Working in a small school affords me the opportunity on a daily basis to interact with the remarkable young people at Tremont and thus to be reminded of my purpose - that I am here to impact young people's lives. There are more joyful moments than I could possibly share here, believe me, but today, I want to share Rachel's perspective on the world. Rachel is a junior at Tremont and among other things, Rachel is a talented writer and photographer. Recently, I asked Rachel if she would be our resident photographer for events, and she eagerly accepted the challenge. Check out how she "saw" our All School Hike and service at Gaining Ground: (Thank you for sharing your photos with me and giving me permission to share them, Rachel!)

  • Ninth and tenth graders in the Conflict in Literature class have been reading Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet as part of their curriculum. Yesterday, they had the opportunity to visit the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge to view a live performance of the play!

    Managing Director at Bain Capital

Some of you know that I'm on the Board of Trustees at Tremont School. Tremont School is thrilled to announce the launch of the Education Fellowship in Neurodiversity, a new program that aims to explore the intersection of education and neurodiversity. This program has been made possible by the generous support of Edward Rocha. We are seeking a passionate graduate student who is eager to learn more about this dynamic field. The Education Fellowship in Neurodiversity requires 10-20 hours per week on-site at our Concord, MA location. As a school committed to providing an inclusive and diverse learning environment, we believe this opportunity will allow the fellow to gain valuable insights into neurodiversity and education. If you are a graduate student who is passionate about education and excited to explore this field, we encourage you to contact our program director, Colleen, at colleen@tremontschool.org. We look forward to hearing from you! #EducationFellowship #Neurodiversity #GraduateStudent #PassionateAboutEducation #TremontSchool
