Since mid-November, our crew here in Petersburg, VA, has been facing an unexpected challenge: hitting hard rock right at surface elevation—a surprise that has thrown a major curve ball into our plan. But if there’s one thing our team excels at, it’s rising to the occasion. 💪 Under the leadership of Marshall, our incredible foreman, the crew has gone above and beyond to keep the project moving forward: ✅ Drilling 24/7 to stay on schedule ✅ Bringing in air hammers and additional drill rigs to tackle the tough conditions ✅ Collaborating closely with Dominion and New River Electrical to meet project deadlines Through grit, determination, and teamwork, we’re thrilled to say we’re on track to wrap up this week. On our Rhode Island project, we’re prioritizing safety and the environment in a challenging wetland environment. Decreased lighting and visibility, tight corners, and the large number of matting needed to get to our job sites create potential driving and walking/working surface hazards. To mitigate those hazards and improve visibility, we added high-vis stakes and fencing. These visual controls help keep our team and the environment safe.

We are pleased to announce that the first, of two pairs of semi-trucks and trailers, are prepared for deployment with Tri State. Recently, Tri-State has acquired two brand new Fontaine step deck trailers, along with two pre-owned 2022 Kenworth semi-tractors. We are excited to enhance our fleet with these additions!
