🌟 Exciting Highlights from Arizona Private School Association CSPEN's 10th Annual Conference! 🌟 Yesterday, our Senior Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Stephanie Leisa Gallo had the privilege of attending the CSPEN conference and participated in two insightful panels. The first panel Stephanie spoke on was, “The Marketing Funnel Revolution: Integrating Brand, Demand, and Performance,” which featured discussions with industry experts Doug Campbell and Jayson Shreve from Colling Media and James Constable from Aeroguard Flight Training Center. Together, they explored how schools can drive better results by merging brand awareness, demand generation, and performance metrics into their marketing strategies. Whether you’re working with a handful of students or thousands, rethinking marketing approaches can yield groundbreaking insights and enrollment boosts. In the second panel, “2024 Macro Trends in Education Marketing: Adapting to the Needs of Today's Non-Traditional Students,” Stephanie joined Lauren Hillery from LT Agency and Thomas McCarty at Chief Outsiders to delve into the evolving landscape of non-traditional education. They discussed critical insights on student preferences, the impact of AI on marketing strategies, and how shifting demographics are influencing recruitment tactics. The conversation highlighted the importance of a student-centric approach and how adapting to new trends can enhance engagement and drive enrollment. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with various professionals in the higher education space and share valuable insights on navigating the future of education marketing. Looking forward to implementing these strategies to better serve our students and enhance our outreach efforts! We’d like to take a moment to send our love and support to the communities destroyed by Hurricane Helene. The video below from randy123_12 shows lineworkers preparing for the storm, lined up and ready to take action. As Hurricane Helene ripped through Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia, communities were left with downed power lines and widespread destruction. Asheville Mayor Esther Manheimer described the scene: "The power lines look like spaghetti... it really feels like a post-apocalyptic scene." In times like these, electrical lineworkers stand on the frontlines, battling the elements to restore power and bring safety back to our neighborhoods. These storm chasers put their lives on the line to help others, and we want to recognize and thank each and every one of them. Your courage, dedication, and tireless efforts have a lasting impact, especially in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. We also want to extend our thoughts to everyone affected by these terrible storms. Our hearts are with you as the cleanup and recovery continue. #LineworkerHeroes #HurricaneHelene #StormRecovery #ThankALineworker #PowerRestoration #CommunitySupport #InOurThoughts #StrataTech #TWS #RSI #SkilledTrades

🎓 Graduate Spotlight: Meet Olin – From Office Manager to Electrician! 🔌 At 38, Olin's journey into the electrical field is an inspiring example of resilience and reinvention. Born in New Jersey and raised in Green Bank, West Virginia, Olin graduated from the seven-month Electrical Applications program at Tulsa Welding School in June 2024. After years of working as an office manager at a trucking company and serving seven years with the United States Post Office, he made a life-changing decision to pursue a career in the skilled trades. “I’ve done electrician work all my life,” Olin explains. “I’ve run wire, hooked up fans, receptacles, plugins, lights—you name it. But I never really got paid for it, and I didn’t have the formal training or certification.” That’s where Tulsa Welding School came in. “I needed something official to show that I knew what I was doing. TWS gave me the credibility I needed to turn my passion into a career.” The decision to go back to school came after a difficult time. “Things turned for the worse at the post office, and my manager made things really tough for me. I realized it was time for a change. I wanted a career where I could be happy, where I could feel valued. That’s when I decided to take the leap and pursue my dream of becoming an electrician.” Olin enrolled at TWS, and it was there he found the support and mentorship he’d been missing in previous jobs. “The encouragement from my instructors was the best part. They always had my back. Kelly Crittenden, one of my instructors, even helped me get my current job at Midtown Electric before I graduated.” Today, Olin is thriving as an apprentice electrician at Midtown Electric, working on major commercial projects in downtown Tulsa. “It’s exciting! I’ve learned so much in just a few months. Each room in this building is a challenge, and I love solving puzzles. It’s not just the same thing every day like it was at the post office. I feel physically better, and I’m happier overall.” Olin’s long-term goal is to earn his Journeyman license and continue growing in the electrical field. “Right now, I’m building up my hours toward my Journeyman’s license—8,000 hours is the goal, and I’m on my way. Whether I stay with Midtown or move on, I know I’m on the right path. Eventually, I’d love to start my own business and set my own hours, but for now, I’m focused on learning and growing.” Olin's advice for current students? “Push through, even when it gets tough. The instructors are there for you, and if you put in the effort, they’ll help you succeed. Take your time with the material, ask questions, and use every resource available.” Olin’s story is a testament to the power of following your passion and finding the right support to make your dreams a reality. We’re proud of Olin and excited to see where his journey as an electrician will take him! #GraduateSpotlight #TWSGrad #SkilledTrades #ElectricianLife #CareerChange #SuccessStory #TulsaWeldingSchool
