Litalien, CFE, is approaching our 2024 goal of 500 units with 25+ developers. The momentum is undeniable, surpassing 400 units recently and attracting 30+ franchise candidates to our upcoming October discovery day. That is huge! Our franchise field team is flourishing, set to double our open units by mid-November and on the way to completing three facility acquisitions. Twice now we have opened 2 units in 2 states on the same day! Great leases are being signed almost weekly. The value of our brand is evident with twenty units set to open by January! Erika C. Spalding and her marketing team are enhancing our capabilities, evident in our partnership with Twisted Pickle LLC in the field supporting local marketing initiatives. News broke last month that Vaughn acquired a majority stake in the Coachella Valley Scorpions. The Scorpions are an expansion team in the professional league for players aged 50 and over — the National Pickleball League, LLC. Vaughn shared the courts with pro player and Scorpions owner Kim Jagd and had this to say: “I have always enjoyed the game and in meeting Kim I was impressed with her, not only as a player, but her passion and style of coaching. I’m excited to support her and the Scorpions on their journey.” Vaughn is a significant addition to the ownership of the league, both in terms of financing and credibility. Will he bring friends like Owen Wilson, Jon Favreau, and Will Ferrell into the mix as well?
