  • YOUR DONATIONS IN ACTION! Last month we called on you to help keep kids warm in the Middle East, and you came through! Thanks to you thousand of children received winter jackets, socks, hats, mittens, and shoes to help offer protection from the cold winter. We are so grateful for your continued support. We love and appreciate you!

  • It's the little things that matter. In a continued effort to help those impacted by #hurricanehelene your donations have been vital to so many. As you can see here, basic, practical items are still needed. We had the opportunity to visit the site where your donations are being put to use. The funds have provided items like extension cords, water tanks, and more. If you are interested in putting together a team to help with the ongoing recovery efforts please send us an email at info@tyingvines.org.

  • KEEP CARING FOR EACH OTHER A humble reminder written on the debris from #hurricanehelene Our President, Mary Kenney and her family were able to visit North Carolina during the holidays and give us an update on where things are at. Please read below: In the wake of Hurricane Helene, Tying Vines is making a lasting impact by helping restore lives and provide safe, secure, and warm temporary housing for affected families in western North Carolina. Each individual supported with your donations, has a unique story and is a vital part of the community. To ensure the funds are directly impacting those affected, we have partnered with local residents who are helping one another move forward with their lives. One such resident is a local woman who opened her heavily damaged campground in North Carolina to those in need of temporary housing. Through collaboration with other organizations to ensure comprehensive support, infrastructure, such as power and water, has been added to the campground, campers have been donated and families moved in. Tying Vines will continue to support needs as they arise such as assisting with utility costs and restoring the campground to full functionality. While many have moved on, we are committed to staying through the recovery stage, ensuring no one is left behind. If you are interested in putting together a team to help with the ongoing recovery efforts please send us an email at info@tyingvines.org.

  • Thanks to your donations, thousands of children have warm clothes and shoes going into the winter season. Refugee children and others in need in the Middle East received winter jackets, socks, hats, mittens, and shoes to help offer protection from the cold winter. Many of these children are refugees from warmer areas and therefore do not have winter clothing. It can be hard for families to provide these items while getting settled in their new country. On behalf of these children, we say thank you!

  • 🏡It was once said that the number that has the biggest impact on your life is the zip code you are born into. Although this statement may be true, we believe that it should not prevent someone from reaching their God-given potential. 💡After years of work we have identified four key areas of support that have the biggest impact on our brothers and sisters across the sea; ✅Ministry ✅Humanitarian ✅Marketplace ✅Crisis response This holistic approach allows for a long-term, sustainable impact.

  • 🌍What once started with just a few partners has now grown to over 36 countries and over 800,000 people impacted in 2023 alone, 814,654 to be exact. (We are still running the numbers for 2024, stay tuned for those). 💜These numbers can feel distant and hard to comprehend, but it is important to remember that these are more than numbers, these are real people. People like you and me. People who are mothers, and fathers. People who are sons and daughters. People who have hopes, dreams and goals. People who want what is best for their lives just like we do. 🙏Thank you for caring for each of these brothers and sisters around the world just like you would your own family. Together, we are the Tying Vines family, and we can do so much!

  • As we look towards the new year, we also reflect on our past. It has been 13 years since our origin. We can still recall the conversations around the small wooden table at the Kenney house in the United Arab Emirates as we dreamed big about all that God could do if we could find a way to connect local partners with the resources they needed to impact lives around the world. We knew we were being called to bridge that gap so in 2011 Tying Vines was born with just 3 staff members and a whole lot of hope. We are so honored to have you on this journey with us and to continue moving toward together in 2025! Here's to many more years together!

  • As the work through Tying Vines spreads, there are hundreds of beautiful stories of hope. These stories of hope begin with help for one person or family. The gift then reaches far beyond the one, offering hope to others. You are giving that gift of hope with every dollar, every Prayer, every kind word. Thank you!

  • A MOTHER IS GIVEN HOPE In the Republic of Georgia, a wife and mother of two was given help to attend classes to receive certifications as a baker. She is now certified and employed. Her income helps provide for her family and they are giving to others in need. We continue to feel Hope this holiday season.

  • AN ENTREPRENEUR IS GROWING HIS BUSINESS Halfway around the world, there is a young man who has been connected to Tying Vines since 2020. An Iranian refugee in the Republic of Georgia, he was provided with a camera and drone equipment so that he might support himself through the use of his photography and technical skills. Now in Armenia after losing his asylum case in Georgia, he is saving and raising funds to attend college in the United States where he plans to study digital media. Stories of Hope fill the air during this holiday season.
