𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐆𝐚𝐩: 𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 💡 For centuries, women’s health has been overlooked, dismissed, or underfunded. Did you know that women weren’t required to be included in clinical research until 1993? Even today, only 4% 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐑&𝐃 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 is dedicated to women’s health. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐠𝐚𝐩—it’s a missed opportunity to improve 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬. To close the gender health gap, we need to: 💡 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 focused on women’s health. 💡 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 for diseases that primarily affect women. 💡 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐛𝐢𝐚𝐬 that has shaped medicine for far too long. A healthier future starts with equity in research, funding, and care. What steps do you think we can take to drive meaningful 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡? #GenderHealthGap #NursesOnLinkedin #HealthcareOnLinkedIn #nurses #healthcare

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐬 𝐐𝐮𝐨 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 💡 This may be one of the most 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐫𝐮𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 in healthcare we’ve seen in a long time. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is looking to reshape the Medicare billing system by challenging the AMA’s monopoly over CPT codes. This could open the door for healthcare professionals, like 𝐧𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐬, to finally 𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬—a game changer. As many of you know, I’m actively advocating 𝐧𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 because nurses remain the only healthcare professionals who cannot bill their services. The current system simply doesn’t reflect the value they provide, and we’ve hit a roadblock with CPT codes being tightly controlled by the AMA. But 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭. It’s time to question the role of non-elected bodies, like the 𝐀𝐌𝐀, in controlling healthcare billing. Could this be the opportunity to make healthcare more 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 for everyone? Would love to 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬—should we rethink the way the billing 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝? Let’s bring nurses to the 𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞. hashtag #FutureOfHealthcare #HealthcareInnovation #Nursing #Reimbursement #LeadershipInHealthcare #NursesOnLinkedIn #CMS #HealthcarePolicy

𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 📊💡 "𝘙𝘦𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘶𝘳𝘦—𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘢." This is a perspective I often share with those feeling stuck in the recruiting process. Success in recruiting isn’t just about closing roles; it’s about understanding the journey. Every resume forwarded, every interview scheduled, and every candidate conversation contributes to a bigger picture. When we analyze 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬, 𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐩-𝐨𝐟𝐟 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬, we uncover insights that turn challenges into opportunities. But metrics aren’t everything. Great recruiting is also about 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬, 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐲, and the ability to 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬. 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫: → Focus on the process, not just the 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞. → Learn, adapt, and 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠. → And sometimes, take a 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤, 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞 ☕. What’s your secret to staying 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠? Let’s share and 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫! #LeadershipInsights #RecruiterLife #NumbersGame #PersonalGrowth #CareerTips
