One of Charity Hospital's most iconic features was a 17 x 17-foot aluminum grille created by sculptor Enrique Alferez for the hospital's main entrance. The grille, called "Louisiana at Work and Play" is now replicated in the hospital and clinic signs at University Medical Center. #50DaysOfCharity
