UM Shore Regional Health's Stroke Center leadership celebrated Talbot County as a Stroke Smart County with a proclamation from the Talbot County Council. Led by Dr. Rena Sukhdeo Singh, efforts have focused on community stroke education during National Stroke Awareness Month. Their goal is to integrate stroke education into school curriculums and community hubs to empower early stroke recognition and care.
