Exciting Partnership Announcement! We are thrilled to announce that beginning in spring 2025, the Monfort College of Business at the University of Northern Colorado will partner with Coursera to offer students new opportunities to earn micro-credentials in a variety of subjects. This collaboration builds on MCB's longstanding commitment to career readiness, providing students with valuable, hands-on experiences through internships and immersive learning. With these micro-credentials, students will gain specialized skills and knowledge that will enhance their educational journey and better prepare them for the workforce.

💼 UNC Entrepreneurship Week 2024: Driving Innovation and Community Impact 💼 The Monfort College of Business hosted Entrepreneurship Week 2024, bringing together more than 500 UNC students, faculty, alumni, and community members for an inspiring lineup of workshops, panels, and the UNC Student Poster Showcase. The week featured expert speakers and engaging sessions: ✅ Mentorship: Why It Matters and How to Find Mentors with Bill Dieterich (SAGE Mentor Network, Innosphere). ✅ Local Startup Panel: The Founder Journey moderated by Derrek Jerred (City of Greeley) with panelists Amanda Eldridge (Denver Founders Network), Eric Fitzsimons (CNE Creative Enterprises, LLC), Sam Huhta (Scope Roofing LLC), and Philip Van Drunen (RVFiber LLC). ✅ Strategic Networking: Network with Purpose moderated by Rachel Roberts (UNC) with panelists Maurice Harris (UNC), Lisa Hudson (East Colorado SBDC), and Daniel Garcia (East Colorado SBDC). ✅ Intentional Fundraising Workshop led by Allie Reitz (gBETA Greeley). 💥 The Student Poster Showcase spotlighted 15 teams tackling sustainability, community impact, and social entrepreneurship.
