This year marks three decades of food, floats and fun at Universal Mardi Gras – International Flavors of Carnaval! To celebrate, we’ve debuted six new floats in the parade themed to Mardi Gras classics, from beignets to beads. 💜💛💚 Shining a spotlight (and hundreds of feet of LED lighting tape) on these parade floats is our Mardi Gras Parade Lighting Team. Jeff, Lighting Programmer, says the parade continues to impress him even after being part of it for 19 years. "One of the things I love most about working at Universal is that, while I know what to expect after working here for so long, the innovation keeps me looking forward to how we’ll take things to the next level," he says. "What we used to put on these floats many years ago pales in comparison."
