First Wild Dose event officially ticked off!💪🏼🎉 What do you get when you mix a left behind display poster, a 2 meter tall foamex hand and the London underground together you may ask!? A very stressed Social & Influencer Executive that is a threat to public health apparently!😅 All jokes aside, Wednesday was an amazing day for me and Charles Instone, heading to our first TikTok Creator Event hosted by Unsociable!🐸 It was wonderful to meet so many new creators and continue our mission to grow our affiliate programme over on TikTok shop. The event was a huge success and a great opportunity for me to develop even more in my role. Some of my main takeaways were: 💜 Always do a roll call before leaving the office! 💜 Get out of my way if you see me carrying large props on the tube, or anywhere for that matter. 💜 If carrying aforementioned hand prop, expect several comments of ‘do you need a hand with that?’ from passers by. Cheap laugh but I enjoyed it every time... 💜 Take in turns eating the event food so someone is always available to chat. Quote of the event: “I was going to come chat to you but you were eating potato wedges", whoops. 💜 And lastly, be forever grateful that you have a boss who can trapse from one side of Manchester to the other in 30 minutes to pick you up a last minute poster and save the day! Can’t wait to do it all again soon and you know the most upsetting part of it all? No one even cared that much about my poster in the end...🙃 Lesson learnt, don’t sweat the small stuff!✨

I was back on home soil in the great city of Manchester yesterday representing Bazaarvoice at Unsociable’s TikTok Content Creator Party. A really great event, and even better getting face to face time with a whole range of brands and creators and understanding their challenges, demands and presenting our User Generated Content funnel to address these demands, to great feedback and interest. There’s few things better than actually getting infront of your audience and hearing how they want to progress their business desires and even better when you hear how their customers talk about their needs as well. To top it all off I left with 2 full bags worth of products to try myself (aka give them all to my girlfriend to use, I think I’ll have to pass on the lip plumping gloss this time). In an era of 30 minute video conference meetings it really solidifies the positivity that there will always be a place for face to face meetings and events and long may it continue! Unsociable it was a truely great event and thanks for having us!
