Our annual UK & Ireland Sales and Marketing Summit brought the Spectrum Brands team together for an incredible day of collaboration, innovation, and forward thinking 💡    Through product demonstrations and insightful presentations, we explored new ways to drive the future of our iconic brands, Russell Hobbs and Remington. A great reminder of the power of teamwork in shaping what’s next!

On Tuesday some of our UK Commercial team attended The Beauty Awards 2024 along with some of the team from our key retail partner Argos We’re excited to announce that our Remington ONE Straight & Curl Styler won the coveted Best Innovation Award, while the Remington ONE Total Body Multi-Groomer and Remington ONE Dry & Style Hairdryer were both Highly Commended in their categories 🙌 A huge thank you to our amazing team and Argos who has been a key partner in supporting us with the launch of the Remington ONE Collection. EmpowHER - Our International Women's Group We are so proud to have successfully launched and embedded our EmpowHER women's group this year at Spectrum Brands.   The group was created to help women in our International business to feel empowered and safe to express themselves; to enable connections and support; and ultimately to reach their full personal and professional potential. We have launched some fantastic initiatives already this year such as our celebration of International Women's day, Breast Cancer Awareness and the launch of an insightful survey which has helped shape our Women's agenda for FY25. We can wait to share more on what is next to come...

We’re excited to share the success of our recent influencer PR campaign, led by our UK marketing team, for the launch of the Eden Range! 🩷   Our vibrant new raspberry shade has captured attention, sparking conversation and boosting brand awareness across social channels. The feedback from influencers has been fantastic, and we’re thrilled to see the Eden Range making a bold statement in homes across the country!

Remington revealed its 2024 hero collection, Remington ONE, while Russell Hobbs showcased its innovative steamers and garment care products. Last week we hosted a successful Macmillan Coffee Morning at our Manchester Office which involved a bake sale plus a charity sale of some of our products. The selection of cakes that were baked and donated were incredible so a massive thank you to all of our wonderful colleagues & bakers! We raised a whopping total of £1,309.08! We still have our Wombourne site to go who will be hosting theirs on 4th October. The money raised help provide services for people living with cancer at every stage of their journey. Thank you so much to everyone who got involved. It was so much fun and great to see so many of our colleagues wearing green in support of the day Macmillan Cancer Support 💚

That’s a wrap on IFA Berlin 2024! 🎬   We have loved showcasing our range of exciting product innovations across our Russell Hobbs and Remington brands first-hand to retailers and consumers from across the world, hosting over 170 business meetings in the process and handing out hundreds of delicious food samples - prepared and cooked in our very own products!   None of this would have been possible without the incredible hard work and dedication of our colleagues, especially our German Marketing team, supported by chefs, hosts and the Global Marketing team.   Thank you to everyone who visited our stand, and we look forward to seeing you all once again at IFA 2025!   #RussellHobbs #Remington #IFABerlin #Innovation #Technology

International Self-Care Day Last week in celebration of International Self-Care Day, we organised a variety of activities for our Manchester based teams to get involved with, encouraging our colleagues to take some time doing something relaxing and creative during the working day! We had a sewing station, paints with mini canvas's, origami and mini building sets for all to enjoy throughout the working day in between meetings and during their lunch break. The participation was fantastic! Thank you to all who took part, we really hope you enjoyed our first Spectrum Brands UK Self-Care Day 🤝
