1 Million Cups Bentonville at the Collaborative has been a weekly staple for several years now. Countless vulnerable startup founders have shared their vision and received support and community. 1MC has served as a front door to the entrepreneurial ecosystem for so many new NWA community members. 1MC also serves as a venue for GORP cohort and Fuel Accelerator participants to practice their pitches and find NWA partners. A thank you to Startup Junkie and the numerous community volunteers who retrieve the coffee, set up the signage and audio/video equipment, and record and broadcast the presentations each and every week. And thank you to the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation for creating 1 Million Cups all across the heartland. Entrepreneurship is the cornerstone of the American experience. Yet another great morning at 1 Million Cups Bentonville. Today we wrapped up Week 4 of 4 with entrepreneurs from the Greenhouse Outdoor Recreation Program (#GORP). Zach Springer with Open Access Bike Library, shared how they are  offering an affordable way to test e-bikes and promote a more sustainable environment. Jeffery Montgomery and Lily Raccasi with FireWatchAI, which is a veteran-owned company, focuses on building electronic systems that will speed-up the training time of first-time firearm owners while also increasing fun, accessibility, and overall proficiency of users in the field of modern marksmanship. Good morning to everyone in #NorthwestArkansas, #Arkansas and beyond. 1 Million Cups Bentonville did not meet today to allow our community members and our volunteer organizers to spend time with their families for the #Thanksgiving2024 holiday. We wanted to give #Thanks our volunteer organizers for all their efforts. Lots goes on behind the scenes to make our weekly meetings happen. From greetings our guests at the front door, to bringing the coffee, to making sure the screen turns on, to connecting the presentations, to setting up the sound, to running live video and of course passing the microphones around for Q & A, it isn't possible without those that show up week to week and make it happen. Today was Week 3 of 4 from the Greenhouse Outdoor Recreation Program (#GORP). We heard from two more entrepreneurs that have a great approach to some problems that some of you may face. Ozark Technical Products : 🧰 is building modular storage solutions that promote gear accessibility and flexibility for all outdoor adventures. Natural State Carbon Repair: 🛠️🚲 provides reliable composite repairs on bicycle frames or any composite product that has sustained damage or has a manufacturing defect. We're off next week to allow everyone, including all of our awesome #volunteers and #organizers to spend some time with their families. We are #thankful for them as well as all of you that come to our weekly presentations. S. hosted Association of University Research Parks (AURP) International Conference attendee tours of the The Collaborative last week. Administrators from dozens of universities were in Bentonville to discuss innovation space design and programming for research, entrepreneurship, and workforce development.
