Training Tip of the Week: Stump the Trainer If you are struggling to come up with ideas that keep your highly experience technicians engaged, try this one out next time! Either individually or as a small group, bring in your more advanced technicians for a training. Give them 20 minutes to "break" the system, with some important ground rules, the most important of these rules below, It cannot kill the system and must actually be able to be repaired. Come back after the 20-minute timer has ended and try to diagnose the problem. You can always incorporate a fun prize if they are able to stump you, or it takes you longer than X amount of time to diagnose. *This activity must take place in a safe training environment and is not recommended in an actual home/jobsite. #TrainingTheTrades
