What a Night! Monash Generator Showcase 2024 🚀💥 What an incredible night! Last Thursday, over 300 supporters of Melbourne’s innovation scene filled the room for the Monash Generator Showcase, celebrating founders, ideas, and impact. From the buzz around each booth to founders pitching bold solutions, the atmosphere was electric! ⚡️ This year, we brought the entire Monash innovation community together—because startups don’t grow alone. It takes mentors, experts, and a vibrant network, all rallying to support the next wave of innovators. I got a mental health care plan from my GP a year ago to find a psychologist. They handed me what I now perceive as an aged piece of parchment with 20 names scribbled on it. I called them all and they were either retired, not taking new referrals or has passed away. I asked the GP about it and, fair enough, they don’t really have the time to go out and find which psychologists are good and who’s available etc. That’s why Valenia exists. Type in what you want (“Find me a psychologist around Collingwood that’s available now and has some experience seeing young men”) and it will show you who it knows. It spends all its time searching the internet and talking (yes talking) to professionals in Australia.
