This Valentine’s Day, why not “cuddle” up to a good cause? Valleywise Health is looking for compassionate volunteers to become Baby Cuddlers in our Neonatal ICU. Our tiniest patients, who need extra care, connection, and comfort, will greatly benefit from your support. By signing up to volunteer, you’ll be making a meaningful difference in the lives of both the babies and their mothers. 💚 Cuddlers are needed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a minimum commitment of four hours a week for six months. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and will undergo a background check and training to ensure the best care possible. If you’re interested, please contact Valleywise Health Volunteer Services Supervisor, Barry Worman, at 602-344-5348. Together, we can bring comfort and hope to the tiniest patients in our care. Valleywise Health Medical Center has again been verified as a Level I adult trauma center by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Committee on Trauma. Valleywise Health became Arizona’s first Level I Trauma Center in 1978 and has maintained the gold standard of trauma care ever since. The ACS Trauma Verification, Review, and Consultation (VRC) Program helps hospitals to evaluate and improve their trauma care. Patients cared for in ACS-verified trauma centers have a lower risk of death and improved quality of life compared with patients in non-verified centers. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gNNg6Uhe
