A huge step toward expanding access to psychedelic-assisted therapy for service members! 🙌 VETS has been at the forefront of not just expanding access to psychedelic-assisted therapy, but also ensuring the research needed to validate its efficacy moves forward. Our advocacy led to real change in the 2024 NDAA, which included psychedelic research funding. As a result, the DOD is launching the first ever clinical trial on MDMA-assisted therapy for active-duty service members with PTSD. This groundbreaking study, aims to explore the safety and efficacy of MDMA as a treatment option. Healing isn't just personal, it's shared. 🕊️ As part of VETS' Foundational Healing Grant program, veterans and their spouses have access to the ongoing integration support needed to help strengthen their relationship.
