"The goal, Khoja said, is get to a point where the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approves a psychedelic product for therapy that can be available and covered by the Department of Veterans Affairs, but in the meantime VETS is looking to states to create psychedelic programs." Following 20 years of service in the Army, Mikey faced a tumultuous return to civilian life. Carrying the weight of his trauma, and facing trial after trial, traditional treatments fell short.
