VIKINT made a pledge to live generously and to treat our employees and those around us with kindness. In fact, the "K" in VIKINT represents KINDNESS - one of our core values. Each year, our employees select organizations to support with donations and service across our communities. This past year, we have supported numerous organizations including The Exodus Road, Samaritan's Purse, Wreaths Across America, U.S. Hunger, Gary Sinise Foundation, BeLoved Asheville, and others. It’s that time of year when leaves are changing colors, the Autumn chill has arrived, and annual festivities are ramping up before the conclusion of the year. Uniquely, every November 1st in Santiago de Sacatepequez, Guatemala, the locals gather at the public cemeteries to celebrate All-Saints Day (Día de todos los Santos) and fly giant, hand-made kites (barriletes gigantes)! While various countries exercise their creativity through candies and costumes, Guatemalan communities do so through giant kites and traditional cuisine. These flying masterpieces incorporate vibrant, intricate designs that convey community values, traditions, and history while honoring the memories of the dead. But whether you are in the United States or China, Ireland or Mexico, Spain or Japan, we hope you are able to enjoy (safely) your annual celebration of spirited specters and saccharine sweets. #halloween #diadelosmuertos #diadetodoslossantos

As we conclude the spooky month of October, let's not forget these true moments of horror: • The sound of your dog beginning to vomit at the beginning of a mandatory Teams call • Replying to ALL on a company-wide email, when you meant to reply to a single person • Complaining about a fellow employee in the public chat • Accidentally concluding a professional call with 'love you' • Forgetting to mute yourself as your toddler wanders into your workspace with a ton to say #staysafe #stayclassy #staymuted

At VIKINT, we honor this legacy and the strength it inspires. Let's take a moment today to reflect and appreciate the contributions of Indigenous peoples. #IndigenousPeoplesDay #DignityOfEarthAndSky #VIKINTValues

World Space Week is an annual space-focused event celebrated internationally. The week emphasizes the advancement of our world's future workforce through inspiring demonstrations of public support for the space programs, educating the public about space-related efforts and fostering international cooperation. To show our support, we remember Edward White leaving the Gemini IV space capsule on June 3, 1965, and becoming America’s first spacewalker. The spacewalk started over the Pacific Ocean near Hawaii, and ended over the Gulf of Mexico, lasting about 20 minutes. Ed White is quoted saying “This is the greatest experience.”
