Last week, we celebrated our Virgin Galactic Inventor Space Patent Program inventors and patent recipients with trophies that have travelled beyond Earth’s atmosphere. The trophies were crafted from a portion of the 2500-series hybrid rocket motor that powered VSS Unity to space during our 'Galactic 06' mission in Jan. 2024. While part of this trophy came from the rocket motor that carried them to space, the trophy itself represents what truly propels us forward—our people and their relentless creativity and innovation. Here’s to trophies which have seen space and the incredible inventors who get us there: Jeff Maki, Eddie Hill (not pictured), Jose Stevens, Edmond Ngo, Rob Sjostedt (not pictured), and Balkar Sidhu (not pictured)! #TeamGalactic
