🏆 Sports Salt Lake Grows in 2024! 🏆 Sports Salt Lake experienced significant growth in 2024, with a 16% increase in the number of events hosted compared to 2023. This rise highlights the organization's ongoing efforts to attract and support a diverse range of events in the region. With a wide range of venues, Salt Lake can host a large variety of sporting events. Here are a few events that display more of our unique offerings. 🏹 In early spring, the S3DA Archery Western National Indoor Championships were held at the Easton Salt Lake Archery Center, a state-of-the-art facility that caters to archers of all levels, from beginners to professionals. 🧗♀️ The summer months highlighted USA Climbing events, including the IFSC Boulder & Speed competitions, the IFSC Paraclimbing World Cup, and the Youth National Championship, all hosted at USA Climbing’s National Training Center in Salt Lake City. This world-class facility is designed for large-scale events and offers a variety of training spaces, climbing terrain, and Olympic-style discipline features. ⛸️ During the winter, the International Skating Union’s World Short Track Speed Skating World Cup and the Four Continents Championships took place at the Utah Olympic Oval. Built for the 2002 Olympics, this Olympic facility, known as the 'Fastest Ice on Earth,' continues to set the stage for record-breaking performances year after year. #SportsSaltLake #Sporting #Events #SaltLake

It’s Wrestling Season! Utah Wrestling is turning up the heat this holiday season with back-to-back wrestling events. This past weekend Zions Bank Real Academy (ZBRA) hosted the 2024 Turkey Tussle Event. The event captured over 1,500 wrestlers, making this event a huge success. In December ZBRA will also hold the High School Christmas Clash Invitational as well as the Christmas Clash Duals. The Christmas Clash Duals is the biggest youth dual tournament in the Mountain West.
