At EPCOT's American Adventure Pavilion, Imagineering showcased President George W. Bush's Portraits of Courage. The display featured over 60 hand-painted portraits of Wounded Warriors, evoking emotional reactions, including tears from President Bush's daughter, Jenna Bush Hagar. The exhibition received significant recognition, highlighting the profound impact of Imagineering's work on both spaces and individuals, often beyond what is initially perceived. As a Wounded Warrior, the display deeply moved me, instilling a sense of pride in being part of the Imagineering story!

Three Imagineering projects have been honored with blooloop Innovation Awards this year! 🏆 The BDX Droids, developed by Walt Disney Imagineering Research & Development, Disney Research, and Disney Live Entertainment, claimed first place in the Experiential Technology category for creating groundbreaking, guest-facing interactive experiences. 🤖 In the Immersive Attraction category, Zootopia: Hot Pursuit at Shanghai Disney Resort earned first place, while Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure at Tokyo Disney Resort (Oriental land Co. ltd,) took second. Zootopia: Hot Pursuit delivers a high-energy chase adventure, powered by next-gen media integration, cutting-edge ride technology, and advanced animated figures. 🚓 Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure is the first and only attraction in the world to feature the patented Disney Laser Switch — an innovative breakthrough brought to life by our Imaging and Effects team and Imagineering Research & Development. 🛠️ Congratulations to the teams behind these boundary-pushing projects, and thank you to Blooloop for recognizing our amazing Imagineers! 🎉✨

Imagineers at Shanghai Disney Resort completed the topping out of the resort’s third themed hotel, marking the completion of structural construction. The project team will now move to the next stage of development — bringing the interior to life. We’re thrilled to see this project come together and look forward to sharing more updates as we continue crafting a unique and immersive experience for guests. 🏗️✨
