Last week, several members of Friends had the privilege to attend and to speak at this year’s High Line Network Rooted Symposium in Detroit, Michigan – joining over 70 other speakers and workshop leaders from across North America to share expertise and insights on connecting communities to public spaces. The High Line Network is a group of infrastructure reuse projects across the country and the Symposium offers a space to share, learn, and have conversations about how we reframe those spaces for our local communities.
