Beta Technologies is set to play a pivotal role in transforming travel in Greece by partnering with Aria Hotels to introduce eVTOL (electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing) aircraft by summer 2026. The company will supply 10 Alia-250 eVTOLs, each capable of carrying five passengers and a pilot, with a range of 250 nautical miles per charge and the ability to recharge in under an hour. The implementation of these aircraft will allow for drastically reduced travel times, such as a 45-minute trip from Athens to Kimolos compared to the current seven-hour journey. In addition to aircraft operations, Beta’s focus extends to its advanced multimodal charging infrastructure, which supports a wide range of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) aircraft and electric vehicles.
