The Juvenile Justice & Delinquency Prevention Act matters for youth protections! The JJDPA provides core protections for young people in the legal system, like keeping youth out of adult lock ups and jails in most cases and separated from adults if they are in an adult facility. BUT, not all states opt into the JJDPA and we need it reauthorized this year! Swipe to read about all of the JJDPA’s core protections and how you can take action to ensure ALL youth are protected. #YJAM2024, #youthareworthit
