The NY Yankees rely on Weatherstem for weather monitoring including lightning tracking at their Player Development Center in Tampa. They're our first MLB customer and we hope to see them win the pennant in the upcoming World Series.

We created a new feature in Weatherstem that lets you go back in time to study a previous lightning event. In addition to generating a spreadsheet articulating timing and location of individual lightning strikes, you can now review the event temporally and spatially. I thought it would be neat to use the feature to look at the May 10, 2024 Tallahassee tornado outbreak. Over 26,000 lightning strikes in a 6 hour time period in a 30 mile radius of Tallahassee! https://lnkd.in/eQxNF_-u
