Anglophone West Africa Social Norms & Agency Learning Collaborative reposted this
In Nigeria, 30% of individuals aged 15-49 have experienced physical violence, and societal norms continue to fuel cycles of harm. Today, the fight against GBV is no longer a solitary effort. Men and women are standing together, united in advocacy and action. From fathers and mothers to brothers, sisters, neighbors, and friends, people are breaking the silence, challenging harmful norms, and championing equality for all. At SCIDaR, we are proud to support this collective movement. The change we seek isn’t a ripple—it’s a wave. A wave that promises safety, value, and opportunities for everyone, regardless of gender. When we rise together, no cycle of violence can withstand our collective strength. Let’s keep building the world we deserve—one where every voice matters. #EndGBV #UnifiedForChange #SCIDaRImpact Anglophone West Africa Social Norms & Agency Learning Collaborative
