The theme of Unity was front and center for the Westfield Specialty leadership team at this year’s executive offsite. Our U.S., U.K., and Dubai teams made new connections, learned about what’s new in each region, discussed DEI and talent management initiatives, and reviewed the 2025 business plan. Guest speaker, industry veteran Tim Turner spoke about the wholesale market, expectations of carriers, how RT Specialty is growing, and the partnership we have built with our respective teams. The team also heard from Ben Ryan, Performance Director Brentford Football Club, and through his story-telling gleaned leadership lessons about high-performing teams and how to let talented professionals be their best selves. Jack Kuhn, Westfield Specialty’s President, addressed the successes and challenges of 2024 and the outlook for 2025, and Westfield’s CEO and Board Chair, Ed Largent, held a Q&A session that covered an update on Westfield’s performance and expectations for 2025. The leadership team also had a bit of fun participating in a cooking competition at the Miami Dade Culinary Institute. Through connection, collaboration and curious thinking, our leaders left the offsite inspired to work together, and to support one another as Westfield Specialty continues to grow.
