[Circular Economy Multiplicator Event at Vitemeir Science Center in Sogn og Fjordane] The Høgskulen på Vestlandet (HVL) team participated in the Circular Economy Multiplicator Event at the Vitemeir Science Center in Sogn og Fjordane. The event focused on using design thinking, following the steps: Discover, Define, Develop, and Deliver, to foster dialogue and generate ideas 💡 The HVL team introduced the WhiteCycle project by distributing textile product samples from Mandals AS (lay-flat hoses and woven PET yarn) while explaining the challenges of managing complex textile waste and the project's #objectives. The 29 participants discussed, sketched, and presented vulnerabilities and needs, as well as practical and potential solutions to their daily waste challenges. The HVL team effectively raised awareness about #WHITECYCLE through this engaging, hands-on experience !

The WhiteCycle presentation was successfully delivered today during the ECOSYSTEX Insights Series #11.   The event, which was held online on Friday, 29 November 2024, attracted 90 participants. Pauline Langbehn from iPOINT Systems presented the topic "LCA as a Tool to Support Recycling Decisions in the Textile Industry," focusing on the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology and tools that iPoint is using for the WhiteCycle project. The webinar was part of a series that showcases EU-funded projects in textile sustainability, offering insights into their progress and findings. A presentation on WhiteCycle will take place during the ECOSYSTEX Insights Series #11 The ECOSYSTEX Insights Series #11 is an online event. It will be the eleventh public dissemination webinar of ECOSYSTEX. EU-funded projects focussing on textile sustainability present their work and share their findings/progress. It will take place on Friday, 29 November 2024, 10:00-11:40 CET. Pauline Langbehn from iPoint Systems will give a presentation titled “LCA as a Tool to Support Recycling Decisions in the Textile Industry”.
