Last week’s Wichita Startup Week was packed with energy, innovation, and collaboration! 🌟 From engaging panels on technology and customer acquisition to hands-on workshops on marketing, software development, and overcoming burnout, to inspiring pitch competitions and networking sessions, it was incredible to see our Wichita startup community come together. We’re proud to have partnered with Wichita Startup Week, FlagshipKansas.Tech, Wichita Independent Business Association, Startup Grind Wichita, and CREATE CAMPAIGN INC to make it all happen and provide such an amazing week for our ecosystem! 🎉

That's a wrap! Wichita Startup Week ended on such a high note with the Trade Show and Pitch Competition. Congratulations to all the startups that participated! Special congratulations to Groover Labs members Matthew Lemming PhD of Winnow Bioscience and Molly Breitenbach of Candid Health Advisors who respectively earned 3rd and 1st place! Also, shoutout to Latasha N. Eley Kelly, Ph.D. ( The Millennial Black Professor® | TMBP Media ) who earned 2nd place! Had the privilege of listening to Kevin Turpin tell his story and share the latest on weavix during Wichita Startup Week. He spoke about resilience, persistence and not letting people down. He reminded the audience to react to opportunities, set the bar high and don’t let up. In talking about culture, he spoke about being loyal, trustworthy, having integrity and leading by example. One of my favorite pieces of advice: “There is good in everybody. Can you pull it out of them?” We come from the same small town and it’s amazing to see what he’s accomplished. He’s the perfect example of taking an unconventional path to success.
