The one and only Selma Blair has been busy lately, first on duty during the Tribeca Film Festival as a jury member and then as a front row regular in Paris, for the AMI PARIS show during men’s fashion week and then at the couture shows of BALENCIAGA, SCHIAPARELLI and Jean Paul GAULTIER. She also celebrated her 52nd birthday in town, at the Vogue World event no less. “It felt like the whole world conspired to throw me a party,” she said. For the Ami show, which Blair described as “the Paris style adored by everyone,” she requested “long wavy hair, editorial hair” and her hair stylist Paul Jones worked his magic. Sebastian Suhl, the former TRUSSARDI chief executive officer and a Prada and Valentino alum, has been named CEO of Mosaiq Group, a new entity grouping companies that specialize in luxury and sustainable packaging. Mosaiq was established by a private equity investor. Suhl — who left Trussardi in March 2023 amid a company shakeup, following which the brand was eventually sold to Italian fashion group Miroglio Group — is to spearhead Mosaiq’s transformation into a European leader in luxury packaging, a fragmented sector, leveraging the expertise of the individual companies that are part of the group. The blush boom is real. Not only is the category a viral mainstay and a steady driver of makeup growth since 2023, per Circana, but it also raked in $58.9 million in revenue on Amazon during the last 12 months, growing at a rate of 39 percent year-over-year. This outpaces not just makeup's growth of 25 percent during the same period, but also beauty and personal care’s overall sales growth of 30 percent on the platform. An internal LVMH announcement seen by WWD said Valenti, most recently president of Europe, Middle East and Africa at Louis Vuitton, would start immediately. imogene + willie have come up with a novel way to celebrate the company’s 15th anniversary. The Nashville-based retailer, which manufactures everything it sells in the U.S., has lined up 15 like-minded brands to create special Made in America products that will begin rolling out in mid-July. While the majority of the pieces are apparel, footwear or accessories, there are other products as well, ranging from surfboards to ceramic vases. Imogene + Willie was founded in 2009 by husband-and-wife duo Matt and carrie eddmenson with one fit of a denim jean for men, the Willie; and for women, the Imogene. (The names, incidentally, are those of their maternal grandmothers.) Their first run of 250 pairs sold out in three weeks, and the Eddmensons were on their way. Read more : https://lnkd.in/e6vV9iw5
