  • Self-advocacy is one of the most challenging yet crucial skills women can develop in their careers. Advocating for yourself requires confidence, preparation, and a clear understanding of the value you bring to your team and company. One of the best ways to position yourself for career advancement is by documenting your achievements, newly acquired skills, and the impact you’ve had. Regularly track your contributions so that, when the time comes to discuss a promotion, you have concrete data and examples to present. Beyond keeping records, it’s important to regularly communicate your progress and value to your manager. Share updates on your achievements and express your interest in growth opportunities. This ongoing dialogue not only highlights your contributions but also demonstrates your initiative and readiness for the next level. 💡 When you’re ready to have a promotion conversation, preparation is key. Come armed with data that showcases your value and the positive outcomes of your work. How do you advocate for yourself in your role? Share your strategies for success below! #WIA #TransformationTuesday #SelfAdvocacy #WomenInLeadership #KnowYourWorth #CareerDevelopment #WomenInAutomotive #LeadershipGrowth
