🚀 Amazon invests $110m in university AI research Amazon continues to demonstrate its commitment to AI innovation and research with the launch of the ‘Build on Trainium’ programme. This programme aims to support academic research in the field of generative artificial intelligence (AI) by offering researchers powerful computing resources, in particular by providing them with hours of computation on more than 40,000 Amazon Web Services (AWS) Trainium chips. These chips, specially designed for machine learning, allow researchers to push the boundaries of their projects without the constraints of infrastructure costs.
