Last week, our senior designer Gert Van Dam had the wonderful opportunity to travel to Mykonos, alongside industry peers and experts, to attend Workspace_Meets symposia. From tours of Mykonos old town to enlightening talks led by design specialists to 7am yoga, he had an incredibly memorable time nourishing his own expertise and knowledge, bringing plenty of new facts and ideas back to us in Canary Wharf! From talks about lighting, how it affects us, and how we can use it in our designs, to the use of AI and our ethical response to it. The somewhat philosophical approach was refreshing and food for thought! Aside from the lovely panels and inspirational talks, it was great to be surrounded by people who share the same passion for design and it was valuable to hear about their projects and challenges. It provided a great learning opportunity to discover new approaches for growth and problem-solving. A massive thanks to all suppliers for showing their existing and new products during the one to one meetings. We look forward to starting specifying your products in upcoming projects! Last week, leading interior design specifiers and suppliers from across the globe gathered for the inaugural Workspace_Meets Conference in #Mykonos, Greece. Blair Boyle, Associate Workplace Designer at the Savills Workplace & Design Studio, was among the 120 attendees. The conference featured a thought-provoking programme led by experts, encouraging attendees to challenge conventional thinking and leave with further questions. Key takeaways: 💡 The significance of lighting in relation to our body clocks and chronotypes. How can we design for a spectrum of chronotypes? 🟨 CMF: Shifting from Colour, Material and Finish to Creating More Fun. WISH’s Managing Director Caroline Smith and Senior Interior Designer Joanne Cluett attended the first Workspace_Meets event last week.     A massive thanks to all the Workspace_Meets team Luke Collings, Petra Kluk, Veerle de Muijnck for inviting us to connect with specifiers & suppliers held in an exquisite resort setting in Mykonos.  It was a great opportunity to make new industry connections and reconnect with existing ones as well as discovering new products and systems on offer to us in our world of commercial interiors.  We look forward to future collaborations.    WISH Interior Architecture Team
