Workplace flexibility isn’t just for younger generations—Gen X would like a word in the conversation, too. 🙋 By 2030, Gen X will be in their 50s and 60s, leading companies and shaping workplace culture. As the bridge between older and younger generations, they’ll drive collaboration, mentorship, and innovation. Expect Gen X leaders to champion: 🤝 Open communication & teamwork 👋 Mentorship for younger employees 💼 Work-life balance & flexibility Gen X will push for phased retirement, part-time roles, and policies that support life beyond work. They’ll also expect recognition for their long-term contributions and expertise. Businesses that embrace Gen X leadership will benefit from their adaptability, experience, and vision for the future. Ignore them, and you risk missing out on a powerful force for progress. #leadership #future #genx #workplaceculture To read more about working with different generations, visit The Predictive Index blog post here: https://lnkd.in/g_K3N7AB

The last few days have been some of the most exciting and inspiring of my career. The Workweek team descended on Austin, and we had it all—big laughs, a few happy tears, and plenty of karaoke. More importantly, we found real alignment. One of our core values is being tightly aligned, loosely coupled—a principle that helps us move fast, avoid micromanagement, and streamline decision-making. This week embodied that value. Our revenue is nearly doubling this year. But beyond just knowing that, the team understands how and why. This is an execution game, and I’d bet on this team every time to out-execute any challenge ahead. Here’s to a huge 2025, let’s get after it.

Employee review time: a time of reflection, growth, and... running from HR? 🏃♂️💨 You don’t need to run from HR and you definitely don’t need to feel dread or worry. Let's flip the script: instead of avoiding reviews, what if we embraced them as opportunities for feedback and development? Employee reviews should feel less like a chase and more like a meaningful conversation. When done right, they: ✅ Highlight accomplishments ✅ Address growth opportunities ✅ Foster alignment between individual goals and company vision Also, reviews should happen more than once a year, even if there isn't a formal time to do so. It's always a good idea to know where we stand! As leaders and team members, we can create a culture where feedback feels empowering, not intimidating. What do you think? 💫 #Leadership #WorkplaceCulture #HR
